The hike was great once in it. We were lucky to run into a local hiker who told us we were in the right place.
Not sure where Google took us the first time. When we got there, the abandoned cars and 'High Theft Area ' sign made us wonder if it was a good idea. The lack of any signs made us wonder where the trail even was.
Beautiful hike through various types of vegetation
Lots of different terrain. A couple of side trails during the loop you can explore. Lots of mosquito bites. No real ocean view, but still a fun hike. Park at the beach park, not the trail head.
Not a bad hike. Good for beginners.
Good trail, especially if it hasn't rained recently. Fairly easy hiking with some nice views. Don't leave valuables in your car, as usual, and you won't have any problems. A little difficult to find but follow Google maps it will take you straight to the yellow gate.
Took us two hours- many hikers passed us. The view from the top was spectacular.
