My family stayed here both times when we came to Hawaii. This place was the best place on the island. It is a nice getaway from the big high rises, hotels, and business of Honolulu. It is a nice quiet retreat with the beach right in your backyard! The owners who rent this little house are super nice and let you enjoy your stay. My favorite thing here, is of course, the beach! I remember one time I was swimming out in the water, when I noticed a sea turtle swimming in the same place I was. I dove under the water (with goggles on) and got close enough to the turtle I could see it had been tagged and given a name! His name was Jeff. You might not have the same experience I did, but I know that if we weren't here for our vacation I never would have experienced that! Also Goat island is really close too. That little island is much worth a visit. The water is calmer and has a lot of birds, and wildlife on it. Overall this place is where you want to be to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city! It is still in a reasonable distance too! The place is nice and can have 6 people in it. Overall, if I ever come back to Hawaii this is the place I am going to be! I am so excited for when that day comes!

I stayed here for a family reunion and loved the place. Beautiful views of the bay and the small islands off of the coast. The beach is right outside the door and is ideal for a sunrise walk to the point (about 1 and 1/2 miles there and back). The neighborhood is very nice, the people are friendly and the Hukilau Café is near by and serves good food.
